RWB Comedy Club is our town's very own comedy night at The Angel Hotel, featuring regular/professional acts from the Comedy Circuit in London and the South. Every few months, we will host a line up of established and newer comedy talent, including acts that have graced the stage of bigger venues like the world famous Comedy Store and have TV and radio credits to their names.

Ben is an established performer on the comedy circuit playing to audiences throughout England and Wales. Over the last few years, he has built an impressive resume and has a relatable demeanour which sometimes boils over into passionate frustrations about his challenges with the world creating energy and laughter.
In 2023 he took his third solo show to Edinburgh - "44 and Flippin Furious", a wry and self-deprecating take on the challenges of being relevant as a middle-aged dad and his place in the world.

James headlines comedy clubs around the UK. His comedy is erudite, off the cuff and clean. He has worked all over the world from Shanghai to Slovakia, Malta to Melbourne. He turned professional after winning the Jongleurs New Act Of The Year Award in 2000.
James has appeared on numerous TV shows including Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC) and Extras (BBC) where he played the Count in the David Bowie episode.
James is the author of The Pub Manifesto: A Comedian Stands Up For Pubs. This was published by CAMRA Books in November 2018. It was nominated for The Guild Of British Beer Writers Award for The Long Live The Local Award for Best Book On Pubs 2019. It was name-checked as one of the best Christmas books by a comedian in The London Evening Standard.
